Dev goes off-plan. What do you do?

What to do if the dev works on a feature you didn’t ask for?

For my software we are building on this channel I noticed a feature I didn’t plan to have built.

The developer made the admin interface more fancy than I wanted.

What should I do in this case?

Don’t roll it back. The damage has been done. Keep the feature

Maybe it’s even useful

Understand the thinking behind it

I can only learn here. What did the dev do there?

Maybe the dev is stuck?

Are there hidden benefits?

Maybe the dev wanted to try something out?
